Sharon Nandoo is SHLA’s new Chair, a position she will hold for 2 years. Sharon replaces Jon Holbrook who stood down after holding the post since SHLA’s formation in September 2005. He remains a committee member.

Sharon Nandoo, an anti-social behaviour manager with Southern Housing Group, said: “I am honoured to be given the opportunity to continue my association with SHLA, as the new Chair. I have been a committee member since SHLA’s formation, and look forward to SHLA continuing to grow and influence the housing agenda and housing law in the coming years.”

Jon Holbrook, a barrister at 2-3 Gray’s Inn Square, said: “When a group of us formed SHLA 2½ years ago we had no name, no members and no money but we were driven by a belief in the need for a forum that could bring together social housing professionals and their lawyers. How right we were.”
